Kndarin é um planeta fictício possuidor de duas luas. Apesar de não existirem deuses no sentido estrito do termo, nele existiram seres habilidosos (materiais e/ou imateriais) que foram considerados divindades. Além disso, por se tratar de outro mundo, certamente a linha evolutiva é diferente daquela da Terra, embora possam aparecer formas análogas e convergentes. Sendo assim, não existem humanos, elfos, orcs e nem mesmo cavalos. No lugar estão espécies únicas, só encontradas nesse planeta.
Somando-se a isso, Kndarin também possui sua história geológica, que formou os continentes e seus relevos, bem como um idioma que teve ampla influência em diferentes povos, sendo a base de muitas línguas “atuais”. Tudo isso é possível saber em Conhecendo Kndarin.
